Organic Waldo Blackberries – 20 Seeds

Description: A medium to larger variety of Blackberry that is preferred by growers throughout the Pacific Northwest in the USA and the Western Provinces of Canada for it ease of growth, flavor of berries, adaptability to the climate, and soils. A milder Blackberry that doesn’t have the heavy bitter/tanginess that is prevalent in many other types of Blackberries. Waldo Blackberries are great fresh, baked, or frozen for later in the year.
Fruit: 3/4 (.75) inch by 1.5 to 2.25 inch long, deep Blue/Black berries that are sweet and tart at the same time.
Fruit Color: Deep dark Blue to Jet Black. The Blackberries will be bright red until they are ripe, and then will take on a glossy Blue/Blackish coloration.
USDA Zones: 2a to 8b, and to elevation in the Northwest and Canada. The berries do very well on the East Coast and in warmer climates as well.
Foliage: Green, minimal autumn coloration
Blooms: White depending on soil conditions.
Organic Winona Strawberry - 25 Seeds

Description: This is one of the best all-around strawberries for growers with smaller locations. Works very well in containers and smaller plots of soil. Produces a very large crop in June, approximately mid to late Month, depending on planting time. One of the best strawberries for eating fresh or freezing.
Fruit Color: Bright red fruits with a pink to bright white core.
Season: Early to Midseason
Fruit Cones: An accessory fruit that is not a true fruit, due to seeds being borne on the exterior of the fruit. Unique to the strawberry.
Flowers: Small - 1/2 to 1 inch flowers. The flower in the first crotch is termed the primary flower, the two in the next two crotches are termed secondary flowers, the next four are tertiary flowers, the next eight are the quaternary, and the next 16, if they develop, are the quinary flowers. The primary flower opens first and usually produces the largest berry.
Flower Color: White to Yellow
Flower Period: Varied due to location, planting time, environmental conditions, and other factors
