Description: Long Island Mammoth very large Dill variety that is a profuse grower, providing enourmous amount of dill over a single growing season. Originally grown for the shorter northern summers in the Northeast of the United States, it has become a staple throughout the United States as well as Europe for the vast amounts provided for the home grower. The foliage is greener than that of most dill cultivars because it is free of anthocyanin. LI Mammoth is a great choice for flavorful fresh cut dill weed.

Germination & Planting: Direct sow into prepared garden bed 1/4 to 1/2 inch in depth. Lightly cover, water as needed. Sow seed directly in the garden in well-drained soil in a sunny location. Performs best in rows 9 inches apart. Thin plants to 9 inches apart when they are 2 inches tall
